The 21st VMLP National Convention kicks-off with Baguio City as Host

The 21st National Convention of the VMLP started with a bang with about 500 Vice Mayor-delegates from different LGUs all over the country in attendance. Lead by its current National President, Vice Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso of the City of Manila, the activities started with the singing of the national anthem followed by the opening remarks of the Baguio City Mayor, Mayor Mauricio Domogan, and thereafter with the awarding of a plaque of appreciation to its first President and Founding then-Vice Mayor and now Senator, Vicente Sotto III.

Baguio City hosts the 3-day activities through the efforts of its member and Convention Director, Vice Mayor Daniel Farinas. The convention continues tomorrow for the election of the new officers.
